1) CONCEPT
We turn your idea into a reality. Developing your brief from conception through to production.
Here at OAT Productions we work closely with our clients to better understand your projects requirements, having regular discussions helps us to understand your vision and what you would like to achieve from your project. Part of this is understanding your demographic, your product or service and the use cases of the content that you would like us to produce.
2) STORYBOARD
Depending on your project brief it may be necessary for us to produce story boards in order to conceptualise the videos structure. This is particularly important if you have a script that needs to be adapted for video or film. This could be an advertisement for a product or service where the narrative structure, shots and editing need to be meticulously planned out, in order for the video to be effective and deliver the desired message to your audience.
3) FILMING
We like to make the process as streamlined as possible so that when it comes to filming your project, everything has been well thought out in advance to the shoot. This pre production process not only makes the filming as hassle free as possible, but also gives you the confidence that we will deliver exactly what you are wanting to achieve from your video.
4) EDITING
We work alongside our clients in the editing stage of the production, working on the initial draft and then getting your feedback and making the necessary amendments so that it delivers the intended message for your audience.
5) HANDOVER
We understand some projects have tighter turnarounds than others and we always try to adhere to your needs. Typically we will aim to deliver your project within a 2 – 3 week timeframe but depending on the scale of the project this can vary. We will make this clear from the early stages of planning so that you are fully aware of the handover date.
INDUCTIONS
Have you got a new employee starting in the company? Or maybe you are hiring multiple for one department? If so then our induction video service is for you. An induction video allows for employees to meet members of your executive team or other very busy members of your business in an engaging way that allows for viewers to get a greater impression of the individuals behind the teams. There is nothing better than hearing from the people themselves about their experiance working in the company, what they do and what to expect. Using video helps to put new employees at ease and get a visual representation of the staff and the spaces they will be working in. You could even include a bit of history about the business and discuss the companies values from existing employees.
Induction videos consist of a wide range of employees. Typically this service would include a general video which covers a variety of employees and departments and then separate edits/individual videos for each department to make more specialised videos for each. Normally the indivudual videos are shorter than the overall video although it depends how much detail is covered for each.
